Expression of interest
The assessor role provides a great opportunity for professional development and enhancing your knowledge and experience of youth work across Wales. The role requires a strong understanding of youth work, the ability to review evidence, including complex data and information and the skills to apply the Quality Standards to a wide range of organisations.
Those wishing to express an interest in becoming an Assessor for The Quality Mark for Youth Work in Wales should:
- Read the document ‘The role of the assessor’
- Send a CV and personal statement (of no more than 500 words) outlining their suitability for the role to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday 5th September
If shortlisted you will then be asked to:
- Complete a short practical exercise.
- Attend training in mid Wales 10-11th October
We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who have the ability to work in both English and Welsh.
Those who are successful will be confirmed as an assessor and will be invited to review evidence generated by organisations applying for the Quality Mark.
Please note assessors will be able to claim for their travel expenses, but not their time.
